The first standardized cold-Press Nigella Sativa (Black Seed) oil
NIGELLA SATIVA OIL (NSO) is widely used in various traditional Eastern and Ayurvedic systems of medicine as a therapeutic tool for many different ailments and conditions. TriNutra® has, for the first time, been able to naturally standardize Black Seed Oil’s key phytonutrient, thymoquinone.
Nigella Sativa oil is the liquid component derived from slow, cold press extraction of the plant’s seeds and is liquid at room temperature. Cold Press extracted NSO is the preferred form because it does not involve the use of solvents or heat that can diminish the quality of the oil.
TriNutra® has developed a Nigella sativa breeding program to yield high-concentration thymoquinone varieties (Non-GMO) that thrive in the Israeli climate and yield 2-3 times the thymoquinone content of other varieties.
